Although shopping cart applications have matured to provide a number of merchandising, marketing and management capabilities, they remain quite archaic when interfacing with accounting applications such as QuickBooks®. The best you could get in the market was an order download file that you had to manually import into QuickBooks®.
With small business transactions in the billions, and millions of online businesses using QuickBooks®, Webgility recognized the need for a simple yet sophisticated software that would allow business managers and owners to easily synchronize data between their online store and QuickBooks®.
Thus began the development of our first product, eCommerceConnector for QuickBooks® or eCC in short. eCC connects QuickBooks®; with your online shopping cart so you no longer have to manually re-enter order information, customer information or worry about mismatched inventory. Better yet, it also lets you process your customer's payment and generate USPS shipping labels (without postage), all from a single dashboard.
eCC supports X-cart, osCommerce, Zen Cart and Pinnacle Cart. The Webgility team is working persistently to add support for many other shopping carts.
