eCC can be installed on a PC, anywhere on the local network where your QuickBooks Company File is located.
Once installed, eCC will guide you through a wizard to connect to your online store. Some stores connect directly (like Amazon, Bigcommerce, eBay, Shopify) while others require a Webgility store module which is downloaded and installed to your shopping cart using FTP.
