Webgility Achieves FedEx Compatible Solutions Program (CSP) Certification for eCC Software

December 11, 2010: Webgility, LLC, a leading provider of QuickBooks and eCommerce integration solutions, has completed the FedEx Compatible Solutions Program (CSP) certification for its product, eCommerceConnector (eCC). eCC is a Gold Certified QuickBooks integration software that automates order fulfillment, inventory management, and accounting processes. eCC integrates with a wide variety of online store and marketplace platforms (e.g., Magento, X-Cart, Pinnacle Cart, Amazon, eBay), all QuickBooks desktop editions, popular payment processors, and major shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx)
During the certification testing process, the Webgility engineering team worked closely with FedEx to ensure that eCC fully integrates with all FedEx features and properly generates FedEx-approved shipping labels. By directly integrating with FedEx Ship Manager Server, eCC delivers faster performance (up to 8 express shipping transaction per second), address validation, domestic and international shipping capabilities, and customizable shipping labels, ratings and tracking features for high-volume FedEx shippers. eCC also supports the Zebra Thermal label printer, which generates precise bar coded shipping labels. Furthermore, eCC directly integrates with FedEx Web Services, allowing customers to process FedEx shipping without logging into fedex.com or using any 3rd party application.
Now eCC customers can seamlessly manage their online business within one centralized platform: download orders from their online store, process shipping with FedEx, and reconcile sales orders in QuickBooks. "FedEx shipping was one of the most requested features for eCC and we’re extremely excited to launch this new release. Our customers can now generate FedEx labels and track their shipments directly from eCC," said Parag Mamnani, founder and CEO of Webgility.
Webgility Exhibited at the Sleeter Group 2010 Conference
November 10, 2010:
On Nov 8th, Webgility attended the 2010 Sleeter Group Conference in Las Vegas. Over 500 people attended the nation-wide conference; most were QuickBooks advisors, accounting consultants, and CPAs. The 3-day event was packed with informative presentations, forums, workshops and exhibitions. One of the topics discussed was the eCommerce retailer market, which was an unfamiliar subject for most attendees. As the recipient of the Sleeter Group's New Product to Watch award, Webgility's exhibit booth had a lot of traffic and inquiries. People wanted to learn more about eCC to help their clients who plan to expand their business to the Internet. Moreover, one of the presenters, Selwyn van Rooyen from Wyn Solutions, an accounting software consulting firm, gave an introduction to the eCommerce retailer market and evaluated the available web-store and integration applications; eCC was his top choice as a QuickBooks integration software for online businesses.
Another big topic at the conference was cloud hosting for book-keeping. Accountants are migrating some of their services to the cloud for easier access to and management of the client's financial records. Application hosting providers, such as CPAASP, provide a centralized hosting platform for business owners to upload and manage their desktop and web-based accounting and inventory applications within a secure online system. This enables accounting consultants and online business owners to remotely access store information, manage accounting workflow, and monitor the business performance in real-time. CPAASP also supports eCC as a QuickBooks-eCommerce integration solution, which helps streamline the business operations and usability of the hosting interface by integrating the all the management applications.
