Webgility in the Windy City

Webgility in the Windy City

What an event this year at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition in Chicago! This is our third time exhibiting at IRCE, and for us it was by far the best show yet. When we attended our first IRCE in 2011 in San Diego, Webgility was a much smaller company and not a lot of people had heard of us or our QuickBooks integration software, eCC. Fast forward to today – we’ve doubled in size, launched two additional eCommerce integration products, and strengthened our relationship with partners.

The 2013 IRCE team included me, Parag, Allegra, and Shane (our new VP of Sales and Biz Dev). We debuted our new website and booth, which showcased our QuickBooks integration features and of course our eye-catching orange logo. Out of 500+ exhibitors, we were one of the few booths talking about QuickBooks, so we caught the attention of many attendees, online sellers and partners.

The media representatives were very interested in us. Here’s a interview that Parag did with Website Magazine.

One of the best things about the IRCE is the chance to meet current customers and talk to online retailers who are interested in integration solutions. We spend a lot of time talking to customers via phone, chat and email, but nothing beats meeting them in person.

We love meeting customers!

We met up with partners, including FedEx, Endicia, Stamps.com, BigCommerce and Magento. We also co-sponsored and attended amazing partner events after hours. With all the major eCommerce software providers in one place, it was a great opportunity to catch up with existing partners and meet new ones.

We have a great partnership with Bigcommerce, so it was fun to see them again.

Allegra wasn’t available for the photo op because she was too busy checking out the FedEx race car!

We’re looking forward to another great IRCE next year. See you in Chicago in 2014!
