FAQ

Common questions

What is Books Done, and how does it work?
Books Done is Webgility's monthly commitment to have a human expert review, reconcile, and close your ecommerce books across every connected channel and payment processor. It's included by default in our Complete plans and available as an add-on on the others. If you'd rather rely on Webgility's automated reconciliation alone, you can. Books Done is for operators who want a certified close each month with specialist signoff.
What's the difference between Annual and Monthly billing?
Annual billing saves 15%, allows for more flexible overages and rollover credits, early access to capabilities, and more. Your dedicated sales, onboarding, and success consultants can guide you through the specific details and benefits for your setup.
What happens if I go over my monthly order limit?
Most plans include overages for extra orders per month. You may also choose custom enterprise plans with more flexible overages and roll over orders.
What does "near real-time" automation mean?
Near real-time means Webgility checks your channels and syncs new orders, payouts, fees, and inventory changes throughout the day, typically within minutes to a few hours depending on your channel. A daily sync cadence is also available if preferred.
Can I upgrade or switch plans?
Yes, mid-cycle, prorated. If your operation grows past your current plan's scope, we'll move you up and apply the credit. You can also switch between QBO and QBD plans if you migrate your accounting platform.
What's included in free 1:1 onboarding?
Free 1:1 onboarding includes Chart of Accounts setup, channel connection and configuration, initial historical sync setup, and a walkthrough with a Webgility specialist. Most customers are fully operational within 2–3 business days.
I already work with an accountant or bookkeeper. Does Webgility replace them?
No, and it shouldn't. Webgility automates the ecommerce layer: every channel, every payout, every fee, reconciled to the transaction. Most business owners keep their existing accountant and hand them clean, reconciled data instead of raw exports. It makes the relationship more productive, not redundant.
What does the 3-month historical lookback cover?
The 3-month lookback lets Webgility pull historical order and transaction data from your channels and reconcile it against your accounting system. If you need more history, the Historical Data Import add-on extends coverage to any date range you specify.
For the operators who said no to 'almost right.'

Start with the Reconstruction package. Scale with confidence.

Clean books, tight setup, $249 one-time. Know exactly where you stand before your first sync.
