Shopify Payouts Aren't Books
Webgility turns Shopify orders, fees, taxes, refunds, payouts, and inventory movements into reconciled QuickBooks or Xero entries.
Shopify Payments Doesn't Close Your Books
Shopify's native accounting export gives you a sales summary. It doesn't give you: Shopify Payments transaction fees itemized per order, shipping label costs by carrier, discount codes mapped to the correct revenue adjustment account, gift card redemptions posted as liability drawdowns rather than revenue, or refunds treated as separate accounting events.
Each of those requires a mapping decision. Webgility applies those decisions automatically, to every order, every period, without configuration changes as your catalog grows.
Payout Matches Your Bank
Shopify pays out on a rolling cycle with fees already deducted. Webgility matches each payout to the orders in that period and posts a clean entry to QuickBooks, deposit matches bank matches books.
Running multiple Shopify locations or warehouses? Webgility tracks inventory per location and consolidates to a single QuickBooks or Xero close. Your accountant closes one set of books, not one per location.

A real instance pre-loaded with sample orders, channels, and accounting entries. Nothing to install. No account needed.
The Same SKU, Multiple Channels
When you sell the same product on Shopify and Amazon simultaneously, inventory lives in two systems that update at different speeds. Webgility reconciles across both in real time, so neither channel oversells stock the other already moved.
Order-level entries
Every fee categorized, every discount mapped, every tax jurisdiction posted correctly. No summary entries. No lump-sum Shopify lines in your books.
Payout reconciliation
Each Shopify payout matches exactly to the orders in that period. Your bank deposit reconciles to your books without manual math.
Live in days
Webgility maps your chart of accounts, validates with a test sync, and goes live in 3–5 business days. “Webgility automatically syncs all orders, inventory, and transaction data to QuickBooks, so I don’t have to worry about it at all.”, Ashley, Fringe Sport
